the 19th.of October when Samsung is shipping its 27” S27D590C Curved Monitor, apparently the curved shape matches the natural curve of the human eye and gives a nearly uniform viewing distance from the centre of the screen to its edges,
now for the technical bit, with help from the VA (vertical alignment) panel, it has 178-degree viewing angles, plus a 4ms grey-to-grey response time, 3000:1 contrast ratio, 350 cd/m2 luminance rating, 60hz refresh rate, and LED-based backlight, now here is the bad bit, unfortunately, the resolution's only 1920x1080 (82 PPI), relatively low for a 27” screen if you are into games but great for me, priced at $429.99 on Amazon ready to ship tomorrow, I wonder how much they will be when they arrive over here? and would I like one? you bet!
