When Is A Hornet,

not a hornet?


when it is a moth like this one above, but what a neat trick to fend off predictors to look like a hornet or any other fierce creature but be in reality defenceless, the moth above is known as a Hornet Moth, no surprises there then, or Hornet Clearwing, (Sesia apiformis),



and just in case you can not tell the difference, this is a real hornet, pick this one up at your peril!
