Straight On To Today's Post,

as we are out early to pick up Nick and Maureen,

first stop the underground car/bike park at Central Festival, we wanted to have a look in the new Marks and Spencer store that had opened there, buy a few treats and a Christmas present,

when we returned home, Diana started packing for our upcoming trip, whilst I spent some time re-siliconing the 'O' ring on the underwater camera/video, making sure we had the correct chargers and batteries and charging all of them that we were taking with us,

all too soon the day had flown past, it was time for our romantic candlelit evening bar-b-q,

having said bar-b-q, the first course, New Zealand garlic mussels,

and the second course, garlic bread,

 Diana decided to grill inside,

now for a bit of fun, Diana had bought a 'selfie' stick, so here goes as she takes the first picture of us,

you have no idea how many glasses of wine it took for me to synchronise Diana taking the picture and the flash on my camera to go off at the same time!

then it was time for the curse of the smoking bar-b-q, I would have thought by now I would have figured out how to light it with out making so much smoke, but there it is,

with the aid of the fan it thankfully soon caught,

and with a shower of sparks we were in business,

rather than a steak or chop I fancied a couple of sausage rolls, so on with a couple of sausages from KPK Foods,

Diana had decided on a slice of pizza,

next on with the bread rolls, whilst they were being heated and made nice and crisp Diana was in the kitchen frying some onions,

now these are real sausage rolls,

 so here I go,

I might have known that Diana took a few more pictures of me,

delicious! we had planned on having a ice cream for dessert but decided against it, we just let the evening slide past listening to music, we made a move indoors about 10.00 watched one more from Waking the Dead, then for us we were of to bed.
