We Had Given Amorn An Extra Day,

to repair Nick and Maureen's Blu-ray player,

they had said call back in 3 days, so we gave them 4, so off to TukCom we went,

but bad news, they could not repair it, so I dropped it off at another repair shop on Third Road and we were told we would be called in one or two weeks time,

then a real treat for us, we were of to Rayong to visit a cactus farm, the Petchtamsee nursery that specialises in variegated cactus,

 so off to the motorway,

and look out for the A36 to Rayong,

someone has spent a lot of money on the plants at the side of the motorway,

 keep going to Rayong,

 and there it is,

we were soon in the Rayong area,

but we were by-passing it by keeping on the A36,

we could not help but notice this taller than normal van,

thankfully it was not too windy today,

we were in fact cutting out a large part of the journey by not using the A3 which goes towards Sattahip,

 a nice temple,

for where we wanted to go we stayed on the A36 and do not turn off to Rayong,

but we do want to pick up the A3,

 which is on the right,

 a quick coffee break,

then continue for a few miles till you see this sign,

and turn right onto the 1001 that leads down to the beach,

we then followed the beach road for a kilometre or so, looking out for this wooden house on the left,

just inside the door were these cactus, where we meet the owner of Petchtamsee, Kaimook who made us more than very welcome,

photography is not normally allowed but Kaimook kindly let us photograph this view of one of several huge nurseries,

and this one of a new feature being built, we were totally amazed at how many plants were here and the vast number of coloured and different varieties, we wandered around table after table of beautiful specimens, eventually we had made our choice of 6 or 7 beauties,

we made our way back to the truck after saying our thanks and goodbyes, we were so well taken care of, many thanks to Kaimook, her family and the staff, the nursery is not open for this season yet and some work is still being completed, but in 2 months or so the nursery will be open on Saturdays and Sundays, but always call first, Kaimook's number is 081-863-2879, what a real treat it was to look around the nursery,

all along the beach road just a few steps away was the sea,

with not a soul to be seen,

we arrived home with our precious cargo,

and these are the beauties I will be playing with tomorrow!

no sooner had we arrived back home than we were off again, to Brian and Sa's boys birthday, young Nikki, from the left Tony, Brian's father Mike and Mike,

 lots of guests,

 and food,

 lots of food!

 birthday boy Nicky,

a few more guests have arrived,

 Nicky and Mum,

 Tony and his charming wife,

next stop home, we watched For a Few Dollars More, then Diana who had been busy in the kitchen yesterday came in to the living room with some home made Scotch eggs, delicious, we then watched a couple from Rumpole and we were off to bed.
