Off To Buy The Sunday Joint,

to Friendship,

for this week beef and Yorkshire pudding,

I still do not have a clue as to what the new building next door will be, not that it mattes, I was just curious,

later in the afternoon I called in to Country Favourites,

to order our Indian take away, the restaurant is in Soi Bonkai, which is the road next to Tiggle Bitties on Soi 17,

as you get to the end of Soi Bonkai take a left, then after 10 yards or so you have to make a right the restaurant is 100 or so yards on the right,

the Cosy resort at the end of the road,

we had ordered a feast,

as Jim, Cher and Mr. Tony were here, starters of poppadom masala, chicken samosa and onion bhajiya,

for our main courses a selection of 5 different chicken dishes plus aloo gobi, buttered and onion nan bread plus peas pullao rice, a feast indeed!

Jim and Cher very kindly brought along 3 bottles of wine and two delicious cakes for dessert, plus we had Diana's home made creme caramel,

also many thanks to Mr. Tony for his wine and also for taking Jim and Cher home, I have to say we all had a first class evening, nonstop eating, chatting and the occasional medicinal red wine,

this is the menu from the restaurant,

all of the dishes we had were first class, if you like Indian food or want to try it this is the place to go, highly recommended,

we both forgot about the Irish coffees till after everyone had left, sorry about that! so I had to drink a couple as we listened to some music, one, an old favourite of mine was from Knut Reiersrud, who is a Norwegian blues guitarist,

the title of the album was Pretty Ugly, my three favourite tracks, Don't Start Me Talking, Rubber & Glue, You Can't Judge a Book By the Cover, not everyone's cup of tea, but I love it, by now it was well past the midnight hour so we were off to bed.
