What To Do,

with those small pencil stubs left over when they become to small to use?

use them to create micro art, Benjamin Kreze is a talented artist and inventor working in the fields of painting, photography and new media installation,

some of his most striking artworks are his amazing micro carvings made from the graphite of small pencil stubs held in small glass scientific jars and tubes,

Kreze uses special x-acto knives to sculpt his creations which can be measured in millimetres, this painstaking process requires a gentle touch and lots of patience, speaking about his work he says "I always found the micro world appealing, that is why I started making these little things." for more images of his work have a look here, absolutely amazing, there is no way I could even think of making something so small.
