Off To Go Shopping,

but nothing very exciting,

 just the usual food items,

 from Friendship supermarket,

arriving home I decided to do a little maintenance on the bike and the truck, due to sun and I guess age the plastic cover over the instruments had become opaque,

so out with the toothpaste and a cloth, a bit of elbow grease and the clarity was improved considerably,

next the headlamps and spotlights on the truck, the lenses had become less than clear,

and at 4,500 baht each (at today's rate $134.25, £87.22) for new ones, I will keep to cleaning these every few years, by the way if you try the toothpaste clean at home and it ruins your headlights do not blame me! I tried a small area first many years ago and it worked as you can see and now so can I at night,

 next glad rags on,

and we were out to Soi 13/4, Pattayaland Soi 2, Beach Road,

to visit the Maharaja Indian restaurant as a guest of Barry Kenyon,

 in we went,

Barry started with potato masala,

we started with a couple of poppadom masala,

and some chicken samosa,

which were bigger than we expected,

plus we all shared a huge bowl of yoghurt and other relishes,

 on to the main courses,

served by the ever attentive staff,

and what a feast we had, chicken tikka masala, chicken dopiaza, aloo gobi and a vegetable biryani,

 plus peas pulao rice,

the restaurant was nicely laid out,

and really handy if you want to start or end your evening in the town with a curry, or as we would say in Blighty a Ruby Murry, so Indian food lovers give the Maharaja a try,

we then made our way back to Barry's truck,

past a few of the clubs in the same Soi,

I just love the neon signs, arriving home we thanked and said our goodbyes to Barry for such a kind gesture and lovely meal, then feet up for another treat this evening,

the start of series 3 of the Boardwalk Empire and good the first three episodes were to, after those and a few nightcaps we were off to bed.
