We Parked Behind TukCom,

and made our way to the Friday market on Soi Bukaow,

walking past the food stalls behind the TukCom Centre,

crossing Pattaya Tai we looked back at the centre,

considering it was a market day,

 the traffic was remarkably light,

I am guessing because of this, no turns from Pattaya Tai into Soi Bukaow,

looking back over the road the buildings next to friendship are still standing, the gap in the middle of the two blocks was made some weeks ago when the buildings there were demolished,

the one on the left was the popular coffee cafe,

 a quiet Soi Bukaow,

it was so hot today, the ice seller must be doing a roaring trade,

and it was going to be hot under the awnings today,

there seems to be a shortage of limes, at 4 for 50 baht they are expensive at the moment,

 cute socks,

plenty of new dresses to chose from,

I think someone wants a bunny rabbit,

the towel seller takes a break somewhere,

I had a look at the plant section, but nothing took my fancy,

so back I went past the garlic seller,

and made my way back to Friendship,

past the new building next door,

 which remains empty,

then a small coincidence, parked by the side of the new building in the Friendship car park,

I noticed this truck from Koh Chang, The White Elephant is the bar next door to Paddy's Palms where we normally stay on the island,

shopping over a ice coffee to go,

a few grapes to snack on later,

one of the now popular fruit slushie stalls,

then it was time for the weekend night market on the Thepprasit Road,

looking towards the sea the Jomtien tower almost completely hidden,

 clear skies inland,

the 3BB office almost hidden from view,

this dress reminded me of the flappers in the 1920s that I had seen in films dancing the Charleston,

opposite the bar this evening a car showroom,

 featuring Chevrolet,

 and Isuzu,

 the first food aisle busy,

on the corner of it a fresh fruit slushie stall,

and on the corner of the next food aisle, another one,

 the second aisle also busy,

 as was the pet section,

work is continuing in the market as the floor is concreted and this pillars are cast in the ground,

I am guessing but eventually I think the market will be covered over,

 sunset over the market,

sandbags place to help cars and trucks make it onto the new higher floor,

 in this section,

there are a lot less stalls than a year or so ago,

lots of Ken and Barby dolls,

I am still not sure what the mobile seller sells,

a quick look at some of the heavy duty fixings installed every 3 or 4 meters along each aisle in the market,

hardly a cloud in the sky looking inland,

we were joined this evening by Sa and Nicky,

and of course husband and Dad Brian,

'what do you mean you want a beer!',

after saying our farewells we were home, outside for a candle lit meal,

 'Cheers!',

we still had some curry left from Country Favourites, strangely enough early today I was just talking about how good the food is there to David of East Coast Real Estate in Jomtien,

as I had the camera outside a quick picture of the moon, which was 5 days old and 396,474.11 kilometres away when I took the picture,

we watched Land of the Lost, a funny and well produced comedy, as I wrote before, 'the story is that palaeontologist Rick Marshall takes Will and Holly into a new world of danger, dinosaurs and big bug-eyed lizard people while trying to find their way back home and, too, save the universe and in doing so saving his reputation, great kids adventure, which is why I like it so much, nothing to tax the brain', we followed that with a couple from the Boardwalk Empire, then for us we were off to bed.
