When An Artist Was Commissioned To Paint A Pool,

and given the brief,

'use any colours you want' I did not think they meant use all of the colours!

but Minnesota-based artist HOT TEA did, he was given the opportunity to transform a swimming pool on Roosevelt Island, New York with whatever colours he saw fit, apparently he took the ambitious approach and decided to use them all, 120 gallons of them, the private commission produced by K&CO and Plisken Architecture is called Asylum, a title the artist chose “because the act of creating it pushed my mental and physical endurance so far that I wasn’t sure I could complete the task,” well luckily he did, I wonder what size brush he used?
