Before Going Out,

we had a quick look at some of the cactus,

 and noticed that one had produced,

 two flowers, when they do flower I keep looking for seed pods, but I guess the insect needed to fertilise them does not live locally,

 then off to Friendship,

 the new wing of Friendship now open,

 but we thought we would wait till our next visit before looking inside,

 so in we went for our shopping, during the afternoon Mark called by for a coffee or two,

 then in the evening our bar-b-q, for our starter we had some garlic bread that Diana used the oven for, 

 the problem with using the bar-b-q is that when we turn it over most of the garlic falls into the charcoal,

 our second starter and main course for the evening,

 but first light the barby, smoke everywhere, it appears my fire lighting skills have deserted me, well at least lighting one without producing lots of smoke,

 but soon it was ablaze sending sparks into the air,

 so on with the chicken,

 Diana had made a peanut satay dip plus a bowl of onion, cucumber and peppers dip in a sweet/sour sauce,

 after a long break the main course,

 pork kebabs,

 with a baked potato,

'Cheers!',

then for dessert, some chocolate for Diana, a Magnum Gold for myself,

we sat and listened to music for the rest of the evening, well until 10.30 when the heavens opened up, so it was a mad dash inside, even though we were quick we still got wet, it was raining with hardly any warning so hard,

but all was not lost as we settled down to watch the last 2 episodes of Downton Abbey, we are so looking forward to watching series five, by now it was past midnight, so with that we were off to bed.
