As We Are Fishing later,

we have only made one other post today,

and this is it, the WalkCar, developed by 26-year old Kuniaki Sato, it looks like a laptop, but it is in fact a mini Segway,

step on it and lean forward,

and away you go, no more of that boring, tiring, walking, let the WalkCar take the strain,

and to stop or get off just step backwards, easy peasy lemon squeezy! the board can take loads of up to 120kg (265 pounds), it reaches top speeds of 10 kilometres per hour (6.2 miles per hour), for distances of up to 12 kilometres (7.4 miles), after three hours of charging, the good news is that it is small enough to fit into a shoulder bag when the journey is over, customers will be able to reserve their own WalkCars from autumn 2015 on the crowd-funding website Kickstarter, the skateboard if you call it that will have a price-tag of around 100,000 Japanese Yen (approx. $800 USD), shipping is expected to begin by spring 2016, just one small thought, how will it cope with uneven pavements or ones where tiles or flagstones have dropped a tad? but certainly on smooth walkways or pavement it may well become the new 'must have'.
