I Popped Upstairs,

to water the seedling cactus,

some of which appear to be growing well,

both in the open pots and the ones under cling film, in the afternoon Jay called round for a tea and a chat, he is over here for a few days from his home in Cambodia, so we chatted the afternoon away, after saying our farewells,

as tonight is bar-b-q night we were off to the market,

I took a few pictures as I wandered round,

Diana was buying some prawns for tonight's meal,

a few varieties of fresh mushrooms in offer today,

but it was fruit we were now after,

 grapes and oranges,

it took me a bit of time to work out what these were on the bar-b-q, they were cut in half and upside down, ducks heads I finally found was the answer,

Diana decided to buy a few things for this evening as she did not fancy a bar-b-q tonight,

a last look at the market,

and we were home, garlic bread for a starter,

then time to lite the barby, naturally no sooner had I done so than the wind changed direction blowing the smoke straight into my face despite the fan trying to blow it in the other direction,

but soon it took with sparks flying everywhere,

once the flames had died down, the charcoal glowed nicely,

and this was my feast for the evening, a huge pork chop and as a second starter prawns wrapped in bacon,

on with the prawns and the potato in foil,

the prawn kebabs were done in no time,

 they looked,

 and were delicious,

 next on with the chop,

Diana had also prepared some pork belly in the oven, which made really crispy crackling, 'Cheers!',

for our dessert some chocolate, we tried a few bars, Diana's favourite the Cadburys flake and better still the Marvellous Creations jelly popping candy,

by now it was late, Diana mentioned that she would like to watch a few more episodes of Red Dwarf, so with that we were inside and just after midnight we were off to bed.
