When I First Saw This,

I had to ask why?
would anyone want a keyboard/typewriter like this?

the idea is to refurbish and bring back to use some of the thousands of unused and unwanted typewriters around the world, the idea was the brainchild of Jack Zylkin who has his workshop in Philadelphia, PA. he named this product the USB Typewriter, he has sold 500 so far, each will be slightly different depending on which model typewriter he has at the time, at $899 not cheap, but I guess a great way to impress work colleges and once you are used to it imagine how annoying the clackety-clack of typewriter keys will be to them as they try to concentrate!

for Japanese users you will have to ask for a quote as the Japanese version with 1,000+ characters is not listed, usual disclaimer, no I am not on commission!
