After Breakfast,

a little bit of shopping,

firstly a few orchids for the table for tomorrows Sunday lunch,

followed by a trip to Friendship,

 the new wing open,

and it does what it says on the sign over the door,

inside for our roast for tomorrow,

arriving home I decided to thin out another one of the cactus pots, before above,

 and here after,

I also decided to plant a few of the 'pups' I had removed,

 all done,

it had been raining on and off all afternoon, so instead of having a bar-b-q and having it spoilt if it rained, we decided to go out,

 to the Jomtien Complex,

the good news was that it rained slightly on the way but stopped as we arrived, we decided on Yupins,

for a starter I ordered the 6 salami salad,

Diana ordered the sizzling prawns which she thought were great fun,

 and they tasted nice too,

 eyes down and tuck in,

 'Cheers!',

for our next course we ordered the caviar dish, I also decided to order a flask of genuine chilled Russian vodka to accompany it, Peter asked 'one glass or two?' I jokingly replied 'one glass and a long straw for Diana'

 and guess what?

one glass and a long straw for Diana arrived!

great fun, our caviar arrived at the table,

 and what a presentation,

the main lid removed, the caviar nestled in the bowl surrounded by orchids,

 the smaller lid removed,

to show the red Russian caviar from Kamchatka in the Far East of Russia, served with quails eggs, salad, mayonnaise, gherkins and silver onions,

at the side of the main dish the quails eggs, each on a spoon covered with caviar, (there were four of them but I could not resist eating one before Diana had a chance to take the close up picture),

 the vodka,

 was just so nice,

one of the many masks that make up the rooms décor,

'Cheers!', and we were on to our main courses,

 black Angus steak for Diana,

I decided on Yupins curried roast chicken with whiskey,

 'Cheers!',

both of our meals came with a selection of vegetables,

Peter called over to make sure everything was to our liking, and it was!

I decided on a Jamaican coffee,

which was so nice, as indeed were all of the courses,

then it was Diana's turn, she chose the flamed sweet bananas, braised in butter, cinnamon and Muscovado sugar, flambéed with cognac at the table and served with cream,

and here is Diana's dessert being served,

delicious!

the restaurants card,

and map on the reverse, a truly wonderful meal, many thanks to Peter and all of his staff for a wonderful evening, we will be back!

we made our way out if the complex,

and waited for a blue and yellow taxi for our ride home where we watched some Judge Judy, one episode of The Chase and we were then off to bed.
