Day 8

the next morning,

we meet up for breakfast,

we were all still so happy,

a few telephone calls,

had been made,

but first breakfast,

in the background a photo shoot was under way, it was interesting to see professional photographers at work,

back to the breakfast, chocolate cake! Diana, her Mum and a policeman called into the travel agents, as they entered a fierce row was going on between a Filipino man and the 24 year old travel agent, he had travelled to the airport last night to find the agent had kept his money and not bought his ticket, he could not travel to start work abroad, at the same time the policeman said he knew of the lady as he had a professional run in with her before, notes, name and I.D. card details were taken, the saga continues,

we were all in happy mode, Diana had found a hotel in Subic Bay,

which was only an hour or so away, so into the minivan and we were off,

and here it is the Camayan Beach Resort Hotel,

it was perfect, right on the beach,

we were soon all booked in,

and on our way to our rooms,

watch out for the monkeys,

the rooms were large,

we were soon unpacked,

the view looking towards the sea,

and back to our rooms,

across the bay,

and towards reception and the dive center,

seaside bar and restaurant,

and this I really liked, a lifeguard station,

a kayak passing a banca as the boats with outriggers here are called,

it was time for a walk around,

so a stroll along the beach,

past a tree with it's roots supporting it in the sand,

the sun was starting to set,

further along there were a few abandoned beach huts,

this was as far as I could go,

I retraced my steps,

passing a few monkeys looking for treats in the rubbish bins,

then it was time to dine,

so off to the restaurant,

we settled on a table at the front, overlooking the sea,

most of the family were here,

'Cheers!',

our food soon arrived,

lots of seafood as you might expect, both Kai and Diana went with that,

a mixture,

for everybody else,

Daisy Mae as cute as ever,

Diana and Kai's seafood selection,

I went with a steak,

it was hot work in the kitchen as a dinners meal was cooked,

cooling things down ice creams all round,

then to the bar,

almost opposite the kayaks,

Steve and myself were the only customers, everybody else had all retired, after several for the road we too were heading to our rooms and off to bed.
