I Do Like Quirky Advertisements,

especially if like this one they are well made,


essentially the advertisement has a theme running through it, it is the term kawaii, during the Heian period the author and poet Sei Shonagon, in her seminal work The Pillow Book, defined it as young, innocent and pure, advertising agency Dentsu took the word and made this advertisement for one of their clients, it is well worth grabbing a cup of coffee and watching it, it is great fun and I guarantee you will not have a clue about what is being advertised until you get to the 2 minute 20 second stage, it was a surprise that so much work could go into this one product.
