Sundays Seem To Fly Round So Fast,

today we were out for lunch,

to the Robin's Nest in Soi Diana,

usually we go for the set course Sunday menu, a soup of the day,

 with a selection of meats,

and vegetables, and an ice cream dessert,

but today three of us went with a slightly different plan, Mr. Tony stayed with the set menu, whilst Slim Jim decided on a chicken and cashew dish,

a chicken and bacon sandwich for Diana,

with onion rings and chips for Diana,

 I decided on roast lamb,

and there was plenty of it too,

a ice coffee for desert, what could be better?

a brief rest and we were then on our way,

we said our farewells to Slim Jim, and made our way to Mr. Tony's car,

we drove around Soi LK Metro,

 into Soi Bukaow,

which was more than a tad busy,

 into Soi Lengkee,

and home where we settled down to watch Kingsman The Secret Service, what a thoroughly enjoyable film, this what I wrote the last time we watched it,

'a outrageously funny although remarkably violent spoof of a James Bond type movie, Kingsmen The Secret Service, the action scenes were the best close quarters combat scene we have ever watched, totally flawless, the plot like gravy thickened, the music superb, especially strangely enough the piece by Sir Edward Elgar - Pomp and Circumstance March No.1 as the film drew to its end, a really enjoyable movie, more British than fish and chips, more Bond than James could ever have imagined, what a delight and just to think I nearly did not buy it, what a waste that would have been!'

and if you like choreographed fight scenes this is the one for you, Colin Firth with music from Lynyrd Skynyrd, what could be better? it is a bit gory but so well done, especially when played loud!

we said our goodbyes to Mr. Tony and watched some Judge Judy then Diana decided to use the leftover cream, meringue and strawberries from yesterday to make another Eton Mess, after that we were off to bed.
