We Do Not Normally Go Out For A Meal On A Monday,

but today we were celebrating,

Diana already had her visa to travel to the UK but today her passport was returned with a Schengen visa, so we can now start to plan our trip to Europe,

so we were off to Siam@Siam for a celebratory meal out,

an easy rider in the foyer,

we decided to go up to the 24th floor before eating and admire the view,

 it was a pool area,

with sun loungers for visitors and guests,

and what a view across the bay,

 and out to sea,

notice I did not get too close to the edge!

Diana strikes the pose, she was quite happy to get near the guardrail,

 way too scary for me!

we arrived just as the sun was setting,

which made for a few nice pictures,

having said that Diana was OK with heights this made us both a bit giddy, we were in an outside lift going up 3 more floors to the rooftop pool,

the view from the side of the building looking towards Naklua,

 and across the bay,

1 more like and Diana has got a million!

another of the free standing artworks,

we made our way to the restaurant,

 Diana ordered a drink,

and the candle was lit, we almost had the place to ourselves,

the view from our table looking towards the sea,

time to look at the food, spring rolls and other meat filled starters,

the carvery, for tonight the meat was pork,

one of the chefs making sure all was present and correct,

 the chilled section,

where the cold cuts and desserts,

 are kept,

but I know this is what Diana will have, a few crêpes after our meal,

I carried on looking at the different dishes,

 we were spoilt for choice,

fresh seafood and slices of salmon, always a favorite,

there was also a pasta station,

and a selection of breads,

 so on with the starters,

 and Diana's melon shake,

 seafood next,

salmon and lamb chops for myself,

 and some sushi,

some vegetables with chicken and pork,

 'Cheers!',

 both Diana's,

and my servings had arrived from the grill,

a few more customers had arrived, but it was still pretty quiet,

Diana then had some crêpes and ice cream,

whilst relaxing I noticed the television was showing some views of the hotel,

these are the pools we visited earlier,

this evening there was an entertainer, we think from France playing in the background,

a few more people had arrived, but it was still nice and uncrowded,

 our candle burning bright,

the staff could not have been more attentive,

or fun, we all had a great night,

we both chose a coffee latte to round our meal off,

 and nice it was too,

I am not sure what time we left, but it was late, very late! if you would like to try a meal here the seafood buffet tonight on Monday was 650 baht with no drinks or 950 baht with free flow wine, arriving home I had a night cap, then for us still so happy with Diana's visa, we were off to bed.
