they are if you can catch them, just not too many! but for lucky anglers on the Hampshire Avon catching a fish is not an option, they almost seem to give themselves up, one angler caught 52 trout in a single morning, with 20 from consecutive casts! the trout are believed to have escaped from a local fish farm, around 60,000 of them,

so if you fancy a trout supper, join the Christchurch Angling Club for the rights to fish and start fishing the Avon at Fordingbridge, but be quick, I am guessing a lot of people fancy trout and chips tonight!
