Norman Durham, from Hutton Rudby, North Yorkshire, had been on his usual rounds checking on his poultry and collecting eggs when he came across his unusual find,

he has been keeping hens for over 50 years and commented that this was the first bi-coloured egg he had ever seen, as an aside there is no nutritional deference between white and brown eggs, but brown eggs are larger and more expensive than white eggs.
