After Feeding The Kittens,

completing our morning exercises,

and a light breakfast we were off to pick up Nick and Maureen to go fishing, to start today we were both going to use hook-less rigs, a monofilament net,

is suspended from a bait holder, the idea is that the fish are attracted to the bait, then become entangled with the net and you then pull them in,

 and it worked!

 rather well in fact,

 first fish of the day,

but unfortunately not one that you could eat as it was just full of fine bones,

 so back he went,

just below my hand the bait holder ready to go,

we continued with the nets for some time then Nick changed tackle to go for the big ones,

and was lucky on the first cast,

 so with a helping hand,

 it was ashore,

 big though it was,

it still only counted as one,

I also changed tackle trying to catch ones to eat,

 then a second for Nick,

all of Nick's fish were huge by our standards,

 and all were safely returned,

except this one that I caught, delicious it was too,

 another huge one for Nick,

the day ended up at 7-6 to myself, but if weight was taken into account Nick would have won hands down,

for a bit of fun Diana made this video of the park and the shop in it, the fishing park it is off of Soi Nub Plan Wan, (spelt as it sounds), turn into the Soi from Sukhumvitt, once in the Soi go over the railway crossing and continue for a couple of miles, the road starts to go downhill, near the bottom of it you will see a big pink building on the left where we normally turn right into the old fishing park, do not turn right, keep going until you see Soi 24 and turn right there, continue for about a mile then turn left again it is past Soi 14, the concrete road comes to a strange cross road,

take the one with the sign on it and the park is on the right hand side, we took just one fish home with us, the kittens are having fish tomorrow! we had a coffee, cake and chat with Nick and Maureen then made a move for home, we still do not like leaving the kittens all day and evening but slowly they are getting used to us disappearing every now and then,

next onto the motorbike and to the market,

some fish for Mariana, she is such a fussy and picky eater, this and tinned tuna is all she eats, having said that Cable and Hogue eat everything that is put in front of them, dry food, wet fish, fingers and toes,

a few limes for Friday night at the market,

we bought some huge avocados at Tesco Lotus, so a kilo of large prawns and that will be one of our starters for Saturday evening,

Diana also fancied some Thai food so a stop at one more stall and we were on our way home,

after our evening meal we started a new disc from The Rivals of Sherlock Holmes box and watched two episodes of it,

to round off the evening a couple from 3rd Rock From The Sun and with that we were off to bed.
