Normally When In A Church Or Cathedral,

looking up there is just the ceiling, 

but now the ceiling of Saint-Eustache Church in Paris,

 has a work titled Voûtes Célestes showing on it,

 is a work by Miguel Chevalier,

 the constantly changing sky patterns, form a ceiling of light measuring 66 X 44 meters, or put another way 216 feet X 144 feet,

Chevalier was born in Mexico City in 1959 and has lived in Paris since 1985, His work has focused almost exclusively on digital works since the late 1970s, often combining themes such as nature and artifice, You can see a more of his work on his website, what an undertaking to produce the patterns that are so appealing,

above is a video of the light show accompanied by musical improvisations played by Baptiste-Florian Marle-Ouvrard on the organ, was produced for Nuit Blanche 2016 on the first of October,

 but I have a confession to make, no disrespect meant or intended I must confess I preferred listening to the light show accompanied by Bach's Toccata and Fugue in D Minor, I should say most of us are familiar with the first few minutes of it, but it is a pleasure to listen to it all even after the light show video has finished, also the video above of the work played by organist Hans-André Stamm on the Trost-Organ of the Stadtkirche in Waltershausen, Germany, is mesmerising, just my taste, but there it is.
