the answer had me stumped, all three were designed by Netherlands-based designer Arthur Limpens of Allocacoc DesignNest his quest? to design a desktop switch and light,
His solution was the Heng Balance Lamp, a desktop light that relies on a pair of magnets suspended on strings to pull an internal switch,
the design concept won a Red Dot Design Award last year,
and Allocacoc is now launching an edition of the lamp through Kickstarter, and no I am not on commission! I have to say it would be a fun lamp, but my desktop is not that big.
