when I saw this kinetic sculpture,
by Anthony Howe, standing 17 feet high, the heavy metal glides effortlessly
through the air, rotating in organically circular, harmonious movements,
in the video above built in 2016 LUCEA II, is 22 feet high and wieghs 454kg, the
three-dimensional sculptures are intricately balanced to produce patterns that he hopes viewers could watch for hours, using mainly stainless steel and fibreglass, creates kinetic
sculptures that are suspended or stand glistening against their outdoor
settings, the many windmill-like structures respond to their surrounding
natural environments by reflecting sunlight and producing motion in response to
wind, I looked at his site and found all of them fascinating.
