We Were Out For Sunday Lunch This Week,

to the Aroi Pub Resto,

 for their Sunday buffet,

as we entered Peter was already carving,

and the bar ready and waiting,

as usual a selection of salads,

with potted starters, in the egg cups mussels, one spicy the other not, in the elongated spoons, tuna, chicken and crab-stick salads, with salad potatoes and egg mayonnaise, plus pots of home made pate,

to accompany the main course, carrots, sweetcorn, roast potatoes and spinach,

main courses for today were lamb, beef, ribs and chicken,

and for desserts, a selection of apple, cherry or rhubarb pie served with ice cream,

we all made our choices for starters, this was mine, a second helping,

 Diana's main course,

 Mr. Tony's,

 and this was mine,

Diana decided on a second dish,

whilst Mr. Tony and myself had our desserts,

both of us choosing the rhubarb pie and ice cream dusted with sugar,

 ice cream for Diana,

  no pie,

Peter called by to ask if everything was to our satisfaction and it was,

and kindly gave us all a complimentary after dinner liqueur,

the last time we were here I made mistake, I should have said the buffet was 350 baht each, and I have to say it excellent value for money, the food has so much flavour and it is surprisingly easy to get to,

just look out for this sign on Sukhumvit on the left, after passing Makro on your right, turn into Soi 89, go over the railway crossing and after a few hundred yards Aroi is on the right hand side with parking opposite, the Aroi Pub Resto, we will be back!

Mr. Tony came back home with us, so it was feet up to watch The Long Ships, a great tale of daring do,

keeping to a Viking theme we then watched Erik the Viking

by now we were all peckish,

so Diana popped into the kitchen and came back with a late night feast for us all, after finishing that and chatting we bade Mr. Tony farewell, and settled down to a couple from Cops, then for us we were off to bed.
