In The Afternoon,

Barry kindly called round to pick us up,

we were going to see two friends of his,

 Paul and Sandra,

 who run a cat sanctuary,

 every where we looked,

 there were cats and kittens,

mostly housed in there own homes, but they were given the run of the house at various times,

 and the house cats,

that are out all of the time as they all get along well,

 inside were Mums,

lots of them, with a few larger kittens,

 also a few tragedies,

that had been injured and left to die, but through the love and kindness of Paul and Sandra, have a loving life ahead of them,

more cats in some of the other rooms,

well what else is a sink for?

we said our goodbyes to these kind hearted friends who have devoted the last several years of their lives finding homes for the unwanted and helping the helpless cats and kittens that are brought to them,

we decided on a stop on the way home,

and parked up in the rear car park at Pan-Pan,

 where Diana was in heaven,

so many flavours of ice cream and cakes,

 to chose from,

we chose our table,

and made our choices, tiramisu for Diana,

 and Barry,

and for myself a latte coffee,

and a slice of Black Forest gateau, delicious!

Barry dropped us off home, and after our evening meal it was feet up for the second two episode of Planet Earth II, the episodes we watched tonight were the first Jungles and second Deserts, both awe inspiring, stunningly filmed and the narration of master wordsmith Sir David Attenborough made the show complete,

in Jungles we were treated to the display of Wilson's bird-of-paradise, (Cicinnurus respublica), just one of the many birds-of-paradise we had never seen, in the second episode for this evening a swam of cataclysmic proportions of locust, not in the millions but billions! we rounded the evening off with another couple from Suits, the series just gets better and better, and with that we were off to bed.
