First Thing,

I called in to the post-office,

at Jomtien, notice the official English spelling of Jomtien, it is Chom Thian,

it is in Soi 5, the same Soi that the immigration center is in, way up there on the right,

and looking towards the beach from the same spot out side the post-office,

Diana had been busy during the day, every hour or so popping outside to give the bedside tables a coat of primer and by the evening she had started on the white top coat,

then it was glad rags on and we were off with Mr. Tony to Cherry's

the sign says it all, 450 baht per person,

soup of the day was golden pumpkin and there was the usual favorite tom yum goong,

for starters there is a selection of salads,

including one of my favorites, beetroot,

as well as prawns in spoons, salmon and many others,

and a selection of sushi,

on to the main courses, fish, chicken and spring rolls,

18 or so covered heated dishes,

a carvery and piazza station completed the main courses,

 next the desserts,

and what a selection, all of these,

plus 7 different flavored ice creams to chose from,

 and above the main table,

 a nice Christmas decoration,

and a Christmas tree as well,

firstly our starters,

 all ready?

and we were off, this was Diana's selection,

 and this was mine,

Mr. Tony went with the fish,

  on to the main courses,

  'Cheer's!',

Mr. Tony went with the fish again,

pork, spinach and chicken for Diana,

ribs, chicken tikka, pork and mushrooms and a slice of boiled ham for myself,

on to deserts, Diana's selection, fruit salad for Mr. Tony,

and for myself 2 raspberry delights, the restaurant has a International buffet every Wednesday and Saturday and is located on Third Road opposite what was once the X-Cite disco, Mr. Tony dropped us off home after saying our goodbyes,

it was feet up for us and another form the Bond box, for this evening, You Only Live Twice, and with the end of that we were off to bed.
