had sent these first two pictures to tease me,
for the past two times we have been to London airport we have ordered the King crab, only to be told it is out of stock,
but here in Phuket it is in abundance,
they had some time to kill so a quick walk along Phuket's Walking Street,
and then it was goodbye to The Royal Paradise Hotel & Spa, and to the airport,
where Diana had a surprise for them, they were not flying back to Bangkok as Mum and Dad had thought,
they were all flying to Chiang Mai!
Mum and Dad did not know what was happening, but Diana had arranged everything with out their knowing as a surprise,
just a short wait whilst the room was readied,
then out for lunch,
at a local Thai restaurant,
none of them had been to Chiang Mai before so it will be fun for all of them,
meanwhile for me I as I made my early morning coffee in the kitchen, I could hear mewing from outside, there was one of what were kittens, who is now a Mum with two of her kittens,
then three of them,
next the fourth shy one appeared,
later in the morning the water treatment unit under the sink was serviced, as usual a part needed replacing, the pressure container, so one will be ordered and will be fitted next week,
the cooking gas had also run out so a full canister was brought in to replace the old one,
aquarium maintenance was next, 40% water out,
and then replaced,
then a real treat for our cats, Barry had bought his cat a cat tower, but his cat refused to use it,
so he donated it to our cats, who had no qualms about how nice it was,
as expected Mariana was the first to jump up,
followed by Hogue,
Cable was thinking abut it,
then leaped to the first level,
it was the center of attention all afternoon, only Mariana made a walk around the living room, then she went back to Cable and Hogue, jumping on and scratching their new toy, in the evening I popped outside, we normally have a bar-b-q on a Saturday night but as Diana is not here I settled for some sandwiches from Friendship, Barry called in for a quick wine, after saying our farewells I listened to music until well past the midnight hour, then for me I was of to bed.
