Into Town,

for some shopping,

a quick call into Friendship for a chicken for our Sunday roast,

the work on the shrine now finished,

as indeed was the front of the building,

later in the afternoon we were off, to the Thepprasit Road weekend night market, looking towards Jomtien,

 cloudy dark skies,

but not so bad looking inland,

lots of dolls and barking dogs again this week,

and a sign that Songkran is just around the corner, water guns!

I am always amazed at the number of stalls that are here selling 'big eye' coloured contact lenses,

I walked down a different aisle this evening, so here is a shop we do not normally see, selling silk and lights,

 opposite the bar this evening,

 just one stall selling shoes,
the new steelworks has now been covered over,

and concrete slabs I am guessing will be in place next week,
it looks like steel wires have been put in place for the retaining walls,

 the fruit stall,

 ready for customers,

the pet section now covered over,

and a few customers having a look,

under the ramp all of the supports have now been cleared away making a nice dry motorcycle park,

every so often there is the offer of free kittens, but they are always black, it appears that many locals feel that black cats are unlucky so do not want them as pets,

the aquatic stall had a few customers,

 sunset over the market,

what to do with empty liquor bottles? pop a string of LED lights into them and make a table light!

the space next to the shoe stall opposite the bar was now being occupied, the renters of the space arrived a bit late,

new for this week, flip-flops with colourful beach and palm scenes on them,

on the other side of the bar, the fluffy toy stall,

a motorcycle to dream for, a Ducati,

 it was soon getting dark,

tonight we were joined by Brian, 'Cheers!', to Jim and Cher who by now are settled back in the U.S.A. we said our farewells to Brian, and made a move for home, after our meal of delicious honey pot cooked spare ribs we watched a The Chase followed by a couple of cooking shows titled Royal Recipes, by now it was getting late so we had time for one film, so I asked Diana what she wanted to watch,
well Diana was still in Spaghetti Western mode as she said 'Hang 'Em High' so that was it, and just past the midnight hour when it finished we were off to bed.
