and we were out for Sunday lunch,
we chose The George restaurant
and bar, we have eaten there many times
before, it is in Chaiyaphruek 2 Rd, if you are going away from
Pattaya heading towards Sattahip on the Sukhumvit Road when you arrive at the
Chaiyaphruek traffic lights turn right and the restaurant/pub is about 100
yards along the road on the left hand side,
outside as it is Songkran a shrine,
for starters,
chicken and leek soup for Diana,
pate for Mr. Tony,
and for myself,
a Caesar salad,
on to the main courses,
we all had a selection from the carvery,
followed by ice cream,
with lots of caramel, delicious,
the 3 course carvery is 395 baht, I decided to push the boat out and have a Jamaican coffee, we said our farewells to Mr. Tony and caught a Grab taxi home,
and now for a bit of fun, apparently there is a feature on Diana's camera called Boomerang, what happens is that you take a few seconds of video, the camera or the program then loupes the few scenes together and replays them over and over, well any way this was me yesterday with my pint,
and in The Hilton walking like an Egyptian, you should see me when I have had a few! arriving home it was feet up for a few quiz shows, a light snack in the evening which we rounded off with Sgt. Bilko, which we booth found funny, and we especially liked the closing credit, 'The filmmakers gratefully acknowledge the total lack of cooperation from the United States Army' was that really the case or did the filmmakers just make that credit up? anyway with that we were off to bed.
