It Started Out,

as a quiet day,

in the morning the new kitten was not quite so wary of us, and had a bite to eat on the outside steps,

although a little difficult to see, he/she has a slightly deformed end to it's tail, in the afternoon things got a little hectic, Alex called round for a chat, he and his family had just returned from his travels, so we had lots of catching up to do,

after we said our farewells, we were off to the local market, some chicken for my evening meal,

as Diana was buying a few bits and pieces I had a look around,

at some of the other stalls, this one selling live fish, and cuts of them,

or you could have them dried,

food on a stick, after our evening meal Barry called in, so we had a wine and a chat, whilst he was here Steve from the UK called, so after saying our goodbyes, I gave Steve a call back,

then it was feet up for another few quiz shows, and to round the evening off, one more from Poirot, Murder on the Orient Express, this one the 1974 version staring Albert Finny as the Belgium detective, as an aside he was nominated for an Oscar for his role in Erin Brockovich and Tom Jones, Finney was also shortlisted for his work on Murder on the Orient Express, The Dresser and Under the Volcano, not once, however, did he attend the awards ceremony in Hollywood, saying: “It’s a long way to go just to sit in a non-drinking, non-smoking environment on the off-chance your name is called.” and also famously turned down an offer of knighthood, twice, back to the film, with that mystery solved we were off to bed.
