We Were Low,

on a few things,

 so off to Friendship,

 after dropping the shopping off at home we called into the Punch and Judy, for a read of the newspapers and a coffee,

 arriving home,

 one of the cactus had flowered,

 and the amaryllis,

 was looking even better than yesterday,

 in the evening as it was not raining, we were outside for our usual bar-b-q, for our starter chicken and sweetcorn soup,

 the sky for some reason, dust I suspect, was exceptionally red, 

 I guess we were missed by the feral cats and kittens,

 all 4 of the kittens arrived but they seemed more interested in what was happening next door, 

 lite the barby,

 and on with the food, for tonight chicken, 

 'Cheers!',

 and tuck in, 

 Diana brought one of the cats toys out,

 and played with the kittens,

 which they all really enjoyed, 

 time for desserts, a kit-kat corneto for Diana, and a magnum for myself, 

 all of the playing was too much for the kittens, so it was time for a lie down, 

 then 2 of them decided that my shoes would be a nice place to lay,

cats eyes! we listened to music for the rest of the evening and with the midnight hour approaching we were off to bed.
