When Ever I Think Of Lacework,

I think back to dollies used under plant pots, 


or in dresses, especially in Edwardian/Victorian times, as here in 1897, note the matching veil, fan and skirt, the art of lacemaking is thought to have started in the 16th century,

but here is an artist that uses the medium, 

 today,

to make charming delicate depictions of quiet moments, formed from colorful lace and found wood, each small scene floats in mid-air and is attached to a piece of wood,

they are by Hungarian fiber artist Ágnes Herczeg,
