is our plan for today,
so a quick pose on the pathway that leads to the beach looking back towards our condominium,
onto the beach road, not many people about,
but then it is still the quiet season,
roadworks still continuing, with the attendant noise,
so we stopped at the same beach franchise that we did last week,
nice light skies,
but looking towards Sattahip a bit of cloud, and there was the occasional roll of thunder, talking to Mr.Tony just before we left, at his home roughly halfway between here and Sattahip he said it was raining, we just hoped the rain did not travel up the coast,
a quick selfie,
Diana ordered a coconut, a soda for myself,
for breakfast/lunch, a club sandwich for Diana, chicken with cashew nuts and boiled rice for myself,
and we were not the only ones eating,
the local squirrel population was having a snack as well,
then time for Mr.Doughnut to call by,
and another snack,
for one of the brown haired squirrels,
although this is the same one, there are 3 all of the same size and color,
they look so cute, but in reality they are just long haired tree rats with good PR,
all the fun of the banana boat,
and on the way back a race!
one of the squirrels reappeared,
I am not sure if this is the same one,
and I am pretty sure this one is not, they seem pretty territorial,
as he came down the tree he was fiercely waving his tail, some sort of flight or fight gesture I guess,
all seemed well now,
so time to tuck in,
it was great fun watching them, as the afternoon faded into evening we made a move for home, just as the rain started, so we unwittingly planned things just right, after our evening meal and a few Bargain Hunts it was time for the evenings film, and for tonight,
Brimstone, a Western, but like no other, told in a series of flashbacks the story tells of a fearsome married priest, who is affected by the malady called religion, but in a total biblical sense, Genesis 19:32-38, and even goes one generation further, a deeply troubling and at times a violent film, both physically and mentally, in other words a film not to be missed, great acting by all concerned, the scenery and indoor sets just so right, and with the end of the film we were off to bed.
