as it was Sunday,
so glad rags on,
and we were soon at The George, we have eaten there many times before, it is in Chaiyapruek 2 Road, if you are going away from Pattaya heading towards Sattahip on the Sukhumvit Road, when you arrive at the Chaiyapruek traffic lights turn right and the restaurant/pub is about 100 yards along the road on the left hand side,
we made our way past the well stocked bar,
a quick look at the beef, pork and chicken,
and then a couple of selfies, firstly of myself,
and one of us,
for her starter Diana choose chicken liver pate,
Mr.Tony went with the pumpkin soup,
and for myself a Caesar salad,
onto the mains,
a selection for all of us,
and to round the 395 baht meal off, a vanilla ice cream each,
then time for coffees, a normal one for Mr. Tony,
a Jamaican one for myself, towards the end of the meal George and Ian came in, but with some bad news which was obvious, Ian had a misshape on his motorcycle and gashed his arm when he landed on a glass bottle that broke, so 19 stitches later and he was here, I know we all wish him the very best for a speedy recovery,
Mr. Tony kindly offered to drop us off home, on the way I took a couple of photographs of the now nearly completed Riviera Condominium,
it is one of the more interesting shaped condominiums in the area,
Mr. Tony dropped us off, after we said our goodbyes it was a short walk to the beach entrance to our condominium,
looking back to the Jomtien Beach Road all was quiet, well it was Sunday, back inside it was feet up, we spent the evening watching this weeks new editions of Crime and Investigation amongst others, just a shame they will be repeated every day until next Sunday! but there it is, and with that we were off to bed.
