all morning,
but thankfully stopped as we started our walk,
so umbrella under arm,
we walked up to Thappraya Road, past the Jomtien tower,
looking towards the turn off to Jomtien, dark rain clouds were racing in,
we turned into Thepprasit Road and hurriedly made our way to Magg's restaurant just before the heavens opened,
inside we made ourselves comfortable,
and I just had to have a pose,
we were a tad early, Mr.Tony had yet to arrive,
but when he did it was on to our starters, cheese and ham quiche for Diana,
Mr. Tony and myself both went for the duck and orange salad,
it was huge,
as was Diana's main course, roast chicken,
lamb for Mr.Tony, I decided on roast pork,
on to desserts, rhubarb crumble with custard,
for Mr. Tony,
Diana and myself shared a sherry trifle, but also Diana ordered a mango cheesecake togo, the meal with the takeaway for the both of us including 2 half carafes of wine came to 2,260 baht, we said our goodbyes to Mr. Tony at the restaurant and started the short walk home,
passing the big screen at the end of Thepprasit Road,
lucky the rain storm that arrived just as we entered Magg's had stopped, so we arrived home dry, as the sun went down,
it was red sky at night, in the evening we started watching the first of this weeks new shows, Crime and Investigation, Antiques Road Trip and Bargain Hunt, as it became late we were then off to bed.
