the worse the weather looked,
dark clouds filled the skies,
then the rain started,
and did it rain! the building in the distance totally obscured by the rain,
but eventually it stopped,
and we made our way to Thappraya Road,
and then into Thepprasit Road,
for the 10 baht bus ride,
to the weekend night market,
as I entered the food and drinks stalls had already been set up,
and the mobile fruit sellers were doing their rounds,
looking towards Jomtien,
cloudy skies,
the same looking inland,
it had rained so much many of the stalls had not yet set up,
I could not see what was opposite the bar this evening so I will have a look later,
no more work on the escalators,
but looking further along on the top floor,
some more work had been done on what looks like a roof,
although it had stopped raining,
water was still cascading from the roof,
the fruit stall up and running,
the wicker stall,
had a new Japanese style dress up for sale,
inside it was crowded, it appear the market has become the 'must see' place for tour groups,
and this is where Diana will be calling into later,
or maybe this one, for this evenings meal of sushi,
I made my way back outside,
past the dried fruit stall,
to the pet section,
where surprisingly the main stall was closed,
bird food! we were running out of biscuits feeding the local birds, so we bought a pack of food for them,
sunset, or I should say rain clouds over the market,
the down ramp ready for traffic,
I made my way back to the bar,
and opposite it tonight one stall selling hats,
and the other selling toys,
more clouds coming from inland,
tonight we were joined by Brian,
along with son Nikky,
and wife Sa,
smiles all round,
and a very proud Dad,
as night closed in we said our goodbyes and made a move for home,
and for our evening meal, sushi,
for both of us,
'Cheers!',
next a pleasant surprise as Alex called by for a drink and a chat, after he left we listened to music until the midnight hour when we were off to bed.
