Some Pictures,

from Diana and our family,

  in the Philippines,

and they are off for the weekend, to Burnham park Baguio,

first stop,

hire some quads,

and look around the park,

30 minutes for 50 pesos each, just the ticket to stretch those legs after a 5 hour bus ride to get there,

 next a boat ride,

 Lyn and Dioshane,

 the choice a swan,

or a dragon, amongst others, the boats were 150 pesos for half an hour,

and here they are, Diana, Daisy May, Dioshane, Mum, Donna and Lyn,

one thing that is very popular is strawberry ice cream in Baguio,

Diana and Lyn just had to try some, as did all of the family,

Diana strikes the pose,

then time to dress up as one of the tribe in Baguio,

 Diana,

along with Daisy May and Marvin,

 Diana and Mum,

 Mum and Dioshane,

 group picture,

 Mum and Diana,

 Marvin strikes the pose

as does Dioshane,

 costumes off,

 and they are away again,

this time to the Christmas village in the Baguio Country Club,

 well Christmas,

 will soon be here,

 Mum playing in the snow,

it looks like they are in Finland, log cabins and all,

and who is this? Santa Claus!

Mum by one of the floats,

 Santa,

a pose by the peacock,

a group picture by the nativity,

a waterfall of flowers,

 by now everyone was hungry,

so off to the Canto restaurant for dinner,

Mum and Donna share a joke,

 burgers,

 meat,

and pizzas, what more could you possibly want?

so it is time to tuck in, as you can see the family are having a great time,

back to Pattaya, and this is one of the birds that is training me to feed it, if one or the pair arrive and there is no food, they make a frightful noise, until I put some more pellets out for them,

as the sun was setting I was off,

 out for my evening meal,

 to the Bon Appétit,

 on Thappraya Road,

 special for today,

inside the restaurant is nicely laid out,

 my table for one,

 for my starter,

 a nice prawn cocktail,

for my main course I took a chance, on a steak with shallots and sauteed potatoes,

I say took a chance as a few places I have had a steak before, the steak was tough or had no flavour or worse still both!

but not here, the steak was excellent, 'Cheers!', highly recommended,

meal over I crossed the road for the 10 baht taxi back, then it was feet upon the balcony listening to music until the midnight hour, and then I was off to bed.
