We Have Been Asked A Few Times,

if there is anything we miss about Thailand,

for myself the answer is yes to one thing, bin collections, in the UK I have been transported back into a Third World country when it comes to rubbish collections, huge different colored bins and plastic boxes blight the outside of homes in every street we walk past, home owners have to sort and move rubbish themselves, but take a developed country for bin collection that we left a few moths ago, Thailand, to set the example of how things should be, 3 collections a week, every week, rubbish is sorted at the depot where the rubbish is taken, the cost?  including street lighting, 40 baht a Month, that is less than .25 pence a week! where has the UK gone wrong? it was not like this when I left 30 or so years ago, so why does every street look like a trash dump now? still the good news is that the rubbish bin above at Frankfurt Main Station has it all worked out!
