here is what I think an interesting video, curtsy of Vox, Mary Shelley's novel Frankenstein was written in 1818 and published in 1820, the book was fiction, but brought questions of science, philosophy, and ethics to the public in a way that dry science explanations could not, but here is the thing, we accept so much that we see, read or are told about, but go back to the time of Shelly, and the experiments in the video, they would have caused panic in the general population, it just goes to show how times have changed!
