It Was A Nice Sunday,

blue skies,

 birds singing,

 a walk through the park,

and a number 54 bus into Beckenham, followed by a 194 to,

we waited for the queue to go down,

 then it was our turn,

 a slice of everything,

 and a Yorkshire please,

paper tissue in hand, the plates are always hot,

 'Cheers!',

and for dessert, a knickerbocker glory each,

by now we were both full to bursting, a delicious meal, we will be back, and as usual, diet starts next week!

we caught the buses back home, and passed the gate house,

where one of the rhododendrons was just starting to flower,

the garden at the front, and this the side garden of the gate house always looks so nice,

 we continued our walk,

 passed flowering bushes,

and the red flowering horse chestnut tree,

and then home, in the evening Diana ask to watch Mutiny on the Bounty, the 1935 version, which we both enjoyed,

keeping to a pirate theme, we rounded the evening off with Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales, although sometimes this episode is titled Salazar's Revenge, great fun it was too, but what a difference in budget between the 2 films, Mutiny $2 million, Pirates $230 million, but to be fair Mutiny was made in 1935, so perhaps the amounts are not dissimilar, and with that we were off to bed.
