the day a bit overcast,
but still a nice walk,
when Diana arrived home from work it was time for our meal, which we finished off with strawberries and cream,
delicious, we were talking about how much we are looking forward to picking our own strawberries later in the summer,
the flowers looking nice, especially the roses that had really opened up,
after our meal we had three games of our rules Monopoly, I lost all three games, mortgaged to the hilt with just one Monopoly pound left, one episode of Game of Thrones later and we were then off to bed.
Do you have a British version of Monopoly that uses well-known streets in London? Or is it the original Atlantic-City version?
ReplyDeleteAlso, Diana came home from work? What kind of work is she doing?
Dear Jil, yes we have a UK version, with Mayfair and Park Lane being the most expensive, strangely enough we bought the set in Pattaya where there were several versions of the game. We decided it was a good idea for Diana to work, basically when the inevitable happens my state pension dies with me, so it is important that Diana starts to build her pension up, at the moment she is working at McDonald's, and really enjoying it! the good news is that working shifts we still have lots of time together, tomorrow of to Portobello Road and Camden town markets, Tuesday a drive to Sittingbourne in deepest Kent for a afternoon cream tea, so no real changes to our schedule! best regards, Stan and Diana.
