I Received An Email,

from Mr.Tony,




 detailing this site, titled, 'A Bit Of Lost History By Kodak', some of the photographs apart from being unique show such a different view of life in the day, we have all seen wagons pulled by 4, 6 or even 8 horses, but 40! the view above from the driver’s seat of a 40 mule team, these rigs were used to haul Borax out of Boron, CA and then loaded onto railroads for manufacturing,

 1862, the image shows a horse-drawn Civil War ambulance crew removing the wounded from a battlefield,
