it was known as joined up writing,
today we call it cursive writing and it apparently is going out of fashion with many young people, a skill that people of my age use and take for granted, along with simple things like change the oil or tyre in or on a car, or find a book using a card system or DDS (Dewey Decimal System) in a library, so it was with interest that I found this list of things kids appear not to be taught today, but does it really matter?
