Diana Was At Work Today,

so I popped upstairs to play with a few photographs,

  the first is when we visited Bourton On the Water, the above photograph straight out of the camera,

 but with the wonders of Photoshop, the new image looks for myself so much nicer,

 the same again with this one, hardly a feature in the sky, 

 so one with a bit of cloud put in, with a little more detail in the reflection, looking at this on the laptop, I should have reduced the amount of blue or reflection in the water, it looked fine upstairs, but there it is,

 I then tried this photograph with the Orton effect, not too sure that this photograph was a good example to use it on, 

 next stop Finland, there was for our holiday never what I would call full sun,

so brighten the snow a tad, add a dark sky with a few sunrays and here it is,

as an aside this is the before and after look using a slide in the program,

 next a infrared photograph, straight our of the camera, when we visited Venice,

 color swapped,

 and a little added,

 then a lot,

 black and white,

 finally a sort of old antique look, 

 Diana was working late today, so music, sherry and a read,

 followed by a wine and my evening meal,

 for tonight a selection of Italian sausage and hams, some cheeses with silverskin onions and gherkins, plus a fresh sourdough hard crusty bread, with a pear for dessert, Diana finished work at midnight, so a walk to the bus stop when she called, arriving home at 00.45 it was feet up for a coffee and a chat, and one episode of Have I Got News For You, next for us we were off to bed.
