We Had A Quiet Morning,

having said that Mark called from Cambodia,

so we had a long chat, then time for Sunday lunch,

for today roast pork, with gravy for Diana,

without for myself,

 'Cheers!',

 for desert Diana's favorite,

sticky toffee pudding with ice cream and fresh cream, delicious,

I rounded the meal off with a port or three,

then to a real treat, we often watch black and white movies on a Sunday afternoon, so what better than this box of 'B' movies? to give you a taste of what is in store for us,

many may not have heard of Clive James, but for myself he was in a league of his own when it came to critics and presenters, as far as I am concerned he was way ahead of all of the other critics of the period, above is his critic of one of the films in the box set, the Wild Women Of Wongo, allegedly the film is supposed to be serious, but for myself it is just so funny, exactly how 'B' movies should be, so on to our first out of the box,

titled The Incredible Petrified World, starring John Carradineto be honest it was more of a 'C' than a 'B' movie, but films in the box could now only get better? so next up,

Queen of the Amazons starring Patrica Morison, shot naturally in Africa, I am guess studios had lots of stock African films but little from the Amazon, quite enjoyable as it happens, with I suspect more than a little stock footage from India as well!, after a break and snack we settled down for our evening film,

On Her Majesty's Secret Service, not one of my favorite Bond movies but enjoyable enough, we rounded off the evening with one from Have I Got News For You, then for us we were off to bed.
