Monday Was A Bit Of A Mix Up Day,

when Diana looked at her schedule last week,

it was a week of nights, 14.00 in the afternoon until 22.00 in the evening, plus I guess she might be asked to stay for the extra 2 hours until 24.00, so Diana had a sleep in as she did not have to start until 14.00, it was not until she was up and about that she realised Monday was her day off! we had arranged this long weekend as we were going to Snowdon with Steve and Kai, but because of the lockdown it was called off, by now it was too late to really go out for the day, so Diana spent most of the afternoon tidying the flat, not that it needed it, in the evening Diana made a delicious beef stew,

I know Monday is a no alcohol day for me, but there are occasional exceptions, 'Cheers!', we settled in for a few films in the evening, 

starting with Corpse Bride, it was nice to hear Danny Elfman again, especially after seeing him in London when he performed live in the Wemberly Arena,

in The Nightmare Before Christmas, 

we followed that with Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events, based on the writings of Daniel Handler, writing under the pen name Lemony Snicket, who is the New York Times award winning author of the immensely popular young readers’ series, A Series of Unfortunate Events, since the release of the first title in the series in 1999, more than 70 million copies of the thirteen volume series have been sold, in case you have not read the books, seen the film or the Netflix series the story is about Violet, Klaus and Sunny Baudelaire who are three intelligent young children who receive terrible news that their parents have died in a fire and have left them an enormous fortune not to be used until the eldest child is of age, when they are sent to live with Count Olaf, who naturally wants their inheritance, we had watched the film before and it was as enjoyable as watching the first time, we rounded off the evening with a special effects spectacular, 

Jupiter Ascending, and spectacular it was too, this is what we wrote when we watched the film before, 'a tale of two somewhat parallel worlds, stunning special effects and a story line with more twists and turns than a twisting twisty thing, very enjoyable', and it was a great way to round off the evening and with the end of that we were off to bed.
