First Thing,

the two cubs called by,

one with its tail moulting by the looks of it,

the second one remaining out of sight, but this one has started to sit and wait when he has eaten all of the peanuts,

Diana had booked today off, we had a great day planed, with reservations at the Shard, but alas it was not to be, the lockdown took care of that, so we decided on a walk to Kelsey Park, as we were walking out of Beckenham Place Park, droves of people were walking in,

we passed Foxgrove Lodge,

and the church,

we were soon in the park,

a quick look,

at the River Beck,

that runs through it,

Diana was snapping away as well,

we had brought some peanuts with us,

to feed the ducks,

who were conspicuous by their absence, the lake has been taken over by Canadian geese and seagulls,

we actually had this part of the park to ourselves,

something I have not seen for a long time took my attention,

a rat, at first I thought it was a vole, but then I noticed the tail,

some of the trees putting on,

a nice autumn show,

that we both liked,

and then there they were, a few of the remaining ducks, so out with the peanuts,

a fact that did not go unnoticed by one of the squirrels,

we continued our walk,

by now it was very crowded, no social distancing here!

blue skies,

the crowds now thinning out for some reason,

there were still a number of herons on the island,

a seagull taking advantage of a unused post,

seagulls as far as the eye could see,

Diana loves the leaves,

another tree,

putting on a nice display,

now at the far end of the lake, time for a pose,

looking towards the town end entrance to the park,

lots more leaves,

and time for a pose,

or two,

or three,

and I had to have one by the berries as well,

we started the walk back,

past the parks gate house,

this restaurant always looks so nice with its floral display outside,

we made our way past the church, Diana called into  M & S to pick up a few things,

then home,

for a pose or,

three,

in the evening, a sherry and a read,

before our starter of mussels,

'Cheers!',
for Diana's main course, bass,

for myself salmon,

on to desserts,

sticky toffee pudding and cream, all delicious,

after the meal Diana had 40 winks,

then time to move some of our shopping, we both love panettone cakes/bread, so when I went shopping I bought a plain one, one with chocolate and one of the extra special ones,

totally forgetting that we had one in the cupboard that we had not even started! which was a nice mistake to make, in the evening we watched a Poirot and a couple of Midsomer Murders, then for us we were off to bed.
