we had some snow,
whilst other areas in the UK are snow bound,
for us this was the first that settled, unfortunately not for long,
as we settled down for Sunday lunch it was already disappearing,
for our starter today a jar of chicken liver pate with toast for each of us,
'Cheers!',
the last of our tomahawk steaks for our main course,
Diana had slices of the steak,
we were so full we had a long beak and eat our dessert on the sofas,
we popped out for a brisk walk to look at the snow,
but it was already melting,
it was just a light dusting,
and was soon gone from the cars,
it was a shame for the kids downstairs as well, their sledges all ready to go but by now no snow, in the evening it was feet up for a fest of Colombo, it appeared that one channel was showing episodes nonstop, which was great for us,
we rounded the evening off with The Midnight Sky, it had everything going for it, but some how it just failed to deliver, one for the bin I am afraid, it was now just before midnight, so we were off to bed.
The beard really fits the caveman style for eating ribs....be careful of that front tooth!
ReplyDeleteDear John and Alley, the beard is coming on really well, just a shame it is white, still it will be nice for Christmas if Diana lets me keep it! I am taking good care of the teeth, the last thing I want is for another one to go, best regards, Stan and Diana.
