Late In The Morning I Popped Out.

into town for a few bits and pieces,

which was fun trying not to slip over, the paths and road were still covered in slippery ice,

in the evening time for a sherry and a read, 'Cheers!',

I had bought a few cockles for my evening meal with dry toast,

delicious!

next a small snack of some of the Indian starters we had during the week,

followed by a dessert of fresh fruit, strawberries, grapes and cherries,

I decided to watch a film rather than listen to music in the evening and decided on Lykke-Per, or as it is known in English, A Fortunate Man, a Danish film, which had been dubbed in English, the period costumes, script, the film was based on the novel Lykke-Per [Lucky Peter), originally published in eight volumes (1898-1904) the author Henrik Pontoppidan, was awarded the Nobel Prize in literature 1917, a tad long but very enjoyable as I followed the success and failures of Lucky Pete,

just before 10.00  Diana called, so a very carful walk past the houses in the park to the bus stop and back, arriving home we watched one from New Tricks and noticed that one of the channels had started to play Red Dwarf so we watched 2 of those before we were off to bed.
